My Year as a Woman in a City of Bikes

This article, written by an avid bicyclist, describes the sexism that one woman encountered during her year of biking around Portland (including people assuming that she knew nothing about bikes). A good discussion of the gender imbalance in the biking world-- and one that touches on much of our IGR vocabulary of internalized oppression!
