About JustConnect
So, what’s JustConnect about?!?
JustConnect is a community website that unites members (both past and present) of programs related to social action at the University of Michigan. Are (or were) you involved in social action or social justice work on campus? Want to connect with members of these groups, find and share resources, participate in ongoing conversation related to social issues? Then, JustConnect is a great community for you to join.

How did JustConnect come about?
The idea for JustConnect came from recent graduates of The Program on Intergroup Relations (IGR) and SERVE in 2007. We were hearing nervousness and concern around maintaining a commitment to social justice as they were entering 'the real world'. Repeatedly, these graduates were sharing a desire to stay connected to the community that they’d established on campus and a broader community with similar interests. They expressed a passion for the utility of ongoing conversation, job posting, and forums for collaboration. Little did they realize that this would come to fruition... JustConnect was about to be created!
With support from the School of Information, and a growing number of collaborating departments and programs, JustConnect is picking up speed. By leveraging the web, JustConnect has the potential to unite generations of alums who are living all around the world. Don’t miss out – join the conversation.
